The blender and origin of the tea very much determine the flavour profile of orange pekoe tea, as a result there are many blends available. Orange pekoe often has a deep and intense flavour profile.

The tea is not orange in flavour. It is thought to be called Orange Pekoe because the Dutch royal family were  the house of Orange in the 1600's. This is when only the finest of the black teas available were available for the royal family.

This Classic Orange Pekoe is a high quality loose leaf tea and as a result full of aroma and flavour, ready for you to enjoy at home. Serve black or with milk to your desired taste.

Brewing Advice;

• Use 1 - 2 teaspoons of tea per person
• Steep for 3 - 5 minutes
• Water temperature 93 degrees C
• Store in a cool dry place, away from the light
